Event Overview

The Sultanate of Oman is introducing an electronic invoicing system (Fawtara) to modernize tax compliance starting in August 2026, targeting 100 large VAT-registered companies in the initial phase, followed by a phased rollout ending in 2027/2028. The system will use the Peppol 5-Corner Model, with mandatory clearance via the Tax Authority.

Taxcom is proud to expand its footprint to the Sultanate of Oman with the much-anticipated Taxcom Oman Summit, taking place in October 2026. Building on the success of our global editions, this landmark event will bring together the region’s most influential voices from the tax, finance, and regulatory ecosystem for a day of high-impact knowledge sharing, strategic dialogue, and meaningful networking.

The summit will convene 150–200 senior decision-makers, including Heads of Tax, CFOs, Finance Directors, Government Authorities, and Technology Leaders, creating a powerful platform to explore the evolving tax landscape in Oman and the wider GCC region.

Join us for this remarkable edition as we foster collaboration, share expertise, and shape the future of tax and finance in Oman and beyond.
